At first, I wondered if driving to Fort Lauderdale (exit at Cypress Creek Road) from Northeast Miami would be worth the mileage effort to visit a new restaurant.  But being a food writer demands sacrifices, and as the old adage goes “it’s a hard job, but someone has got to do it,” so off we went.  Actually, driving North on the I isn’t really that bad after 6:30 p.m. or so.
